Improved freshwater generation via hemispherical solar desalination unit using paraffin wax as phase change material encapsulated in waste aluminium cans

The present work aims to increase the amount of water generated by hemispherical solar still (HSS) using paraffin wax as phase change material (PCM) encapsulated in waste aluminium-cans two different shape square pattern (4 PCM cans) and triangular (3 cans). Furthermore, a comparative analysis for conventional HSS over modified with arrangements was carried out optimize most suitable mass PCM.
